There was a rainbow going down just behind our house when I pulled in the driveway after work.   I rushed in to get the girls and grab the camera, but when I came out it was gone.    So I got a few pics of the sunset/clouds instead

here's is where I ventured across the street to take pics looking back at the house.   She the 2 munchkins on the porch?   The rainbow had been a vertical line coming down right behind the garage, but had already faded out.

Family Night @ KinderCare

On a Friday evening in late August, KinderCare held a  Family Night (they do these every few months or so).   It's nice to get out for some games with the kids - with the teachers they are familiar with, and we are there usually from 6:30 when it starts until maybe 7:30.   Which means afterward it's home and straight to bed!

The Balloon Man.   I waited in line for probably 30 minutes for this.   Syd was going to ask for a pink princess crown/hat.  And then the older girl in front of us asked for the exact same thing.   The dude joked with that girl that she didn't get to demand a color.   I thought "uh oh, if Syd can't request pink, we may have a tantrum right here".    (in the pic below, you can see the purple/yellow intertwined balloons of the "princess hat" of the girl that was in front of us - plus that's just ugly).

When it was Sydney's turn, she requested her "Pink Princess Hat" and she's lucky she's super cute, because the dude made her the cutest "hat" there that night.   And he made it Pink.

Brunch in Huntington Beach

So, Uncle Jim and Aunt Felicia were in the OC from Tuscon recently.   We met up with them for Sunday Brunch.

It was a REALLY long walk to get to Ruby's at the end of the pier

One Monday in late August, Sydney and Annabelle went to church with their Grammy. I wasn't there, so don't really know what each picture is.... but will post them anyway.
