There is a family at our church who we've always sat near (same seats every week). They have 2 boys. Matty is 15 months older than Sydney, and Anthony is 3 months older than Annabelle. They are adorable.
Over time it has came to pass that we all now sit in the same pew at Church with Matty and Sydney usually in the middle together sharing crackers and books to look at.
On the last Sunday of September (super HOT by the way), we all met at Ruby's for breakfast after church. Ruby's is right along the train tracks/platform. In fact, they have a gate from their patio dining area that opens onto the platfom. We chose the patio, and everytime a train came by, the kiddos (and one or more of us parents) ran out there to wave at and watch.

| love the similar expressions on Annabelle and Anthony here |

| Sydney waves at a Metrolink train |
 |
| more waving |
 |
| Poor Annabelle was stuck at the table in her high chair |
 |
| Sydney really did not want to look at me. The Metro is much more interesting |

there's another train a'comin' down yonder.
(that shadow on the ground is the fence from the dining patio we were seated at) |

Finally a big cargo/freight type train! Something other than yet another Metro.

and for the record.. the other parents apparently go there frequently and said they normally do not get that many trains over the course of one breakfast. I think we had like 6 go by in the time we were there.
