Things went pretty much according to plan. We got there Saturday afternoon and grabbed an early dinner at Trejo - yum! My sister also came to town for Sat. and early Sun. to see the Bug. After Trejo we changed Buggy into her halloween attire and roamed the streets in the chilly night air to visit the homes of my mom's friends in the neighborhood. The parents' house is in a much more rural area - there are no sidewalks and the streets were really rough to Buggy's ride in her stroller bassinet and she was fussing about the bumpy ride, so I ended up carrying her the entire walk of several several blocks.
we added the bug hat from the ladybug swaddle set that just arrived this week from Aunt Louise - it was perfect to keep her head warm on Halloween.
Sunday morning was church so mom could show her off to all her peeps there. Their church is brand new and sooooo nice. Mom did one of the readings, and when Buggy heard her voice in the building, she got really still for a moment listening. After the readings, Bug was starting to fuss a little so mom and I took her into the Mother's Room (where the mass is speakered in). We lounged in big puffy couches while Buggy nursed. We rejoined mass before communion. Church weekly for me would be much easier if my church had such accomodations.
After church was Sunday breakfast at the parents' stomping grounds. One of the waitresses they wanted to show the Bug off to wasn't there :( No worries we returned the next day for lunch.
Buggy looked so nice Sunday in her red Gap clearance dress that I got in June for $9. She finally got to wear it!
Sunday afternoon, mom went to some church thing for like 6 hours and dad went to take a nap. So Buggy and I hung out with Ann for a while and then Christine came over for a visit. Christine hasn't seen the Bug since she was 6 weeks old.
Here's Buggy in her new Bumbo seat that Nana bought her on Friday:

Kobie and the Buggy. Kobie still has a 4+ pound advantage over the Bug.

Buggy spent some quality tummy time talking to her bear:

Then chewing on her bear:

And then chewing on her fingers:

Here's a pic of Buggy with "Auntie" Christine:

Nana once again put her clothes on backwards. This has happened before.

Now that we have the clothes on the correct way, it was time to hang out with Nana while mommy got a shower. Nana got on the floor with Buggy and took lots of pictures.

Nana is also encouraging an early Starbucks addiction.

For lunch Monday we headed back to the "Royale". I, as usual, had the chef salad. Been having that for 20+ years. Sad.

Buggy spent time knocking down creamer and jelly towers.

Okay, now this picture just cracks me up because of her face. She looks like she is yelling at someone across the room. In actuality, she was yawning.

After lunch we headed home and I packed up all the gear back into my car and we said goodbye. On my way home, I stopped by my old work, ESRI. Had a quick (too short) visit with Anna - and made the rounds saying hello to all my old friends (well, those still there anyway).
