Sydney went through a phase recently where she was being a bit of a bully to the smaller kids at daycare - pushing them, pulling hair, etc... I was assured by their teachers that they were "on it". For the record, at home during the same period, she was in a super loving phase hugging and kissing everything: the cat, pictures in books, her stuffed animals.
Everyday we'd tell her to "play nice at school". Tuesday I was told that they haven't had an issue with her lately (phew - looks like that phase only lasted a week or 2). I still ask her every evening if she played nice with the other children. Her response is always the same and breaks my heart: She wags her pointer finger and says matter-of-factly "no, no, no".
Awwwwwww.
