One morning I woke up. Looked out the east facing window to a mostly clear sunny day. There was maybe a handful of scattered high clouds. No big deal.
Got the 2 littles up and dressed. A red short sleeve dress for Annabelle with ladybug shoes, and a red capri pant/lady bug tank for Sydney with her ladybug shoes.
We all go rushing down the stairs... that head from the east side of the house to the west facing front door. I open to the door to completely black clouds and drippiness over our house and the neighbors across the street and everyone else to the west. So much for my sunny day. I run back upstairs and bust out their new fleece hoodies for this year, since I didn't have time to change them into weather appropriate clothes.
