Last Saturday we took the Bug to Kaiser (yet AGAIN!), for what I thought looked like pink-eye. Yep, that's exactly what it was. Also while we were there the doc examined her and asked if she'd been fussy. Nope. She informs us: "well, she has an ear infection also, so if she hasn't been fussy yet she would have been within the next 24 hours and you would have been here tomorrow anyway." Awesome.
So Bug got eye drops (2 in each eye, 4 x's a day, for 7 days), and Amoxicillin (4ml, 2x's a day, for 10 days). Dude. Eye drops are difficult. Thanks to my mom for suggesting we swaddle her to keep her hands from hitting the dropper away. D holds her head still, while I pry her eyes open (since she's usually screaming). Fun times.
Oh, and her weight at the doc appt full clothed (jammies and a diaper) was 15 lbs, 13 oz. Makes me think she's lost a few ounces since our last visit was 15-10 naked.
After the trip to Kaiser, we (D, my mom, Buggy, and I) met up with my Uncle Jim and Aunt Felicia for a nice casual lunch since they were visiting from AZ. Buggy was very good in the restaurant - and even spent some time in the restaurant high chair (first time!) while daddy fed her. She was very pleasant to Aunt Felicia and Uncle Jim. Even curling up on their chests to snuggle. She completely knocked out on Aunt Felicia this way. Awwww.
I didn't have my camera handy - but J&F took lots of pics. If I get any of those, I will update here.
The rest of the week was business as usual. Her 2 teeth are coming in nicely and super cute (and super sharp!). She's right on the verge of crawling. Any day now. She's growing up so fast.
