16 month "well-baby" appt.

Yesterday was her 16mo. well-baby appt (15-18 mo appt). Her stats are as follows:

Weight: 21 pounds, 3 ounces (25th percentile)

Height: measured at 29 inches (10th percentile) standing next to the chart on the wall - however, probably inaccurate in that the doc says that she doesn't know why the nurse used the wall chart - they are not sure it is hung at the correct level to be accurate.
Noggin: 18.5 inches around her head (don't know the percentile, but it was well within average on the growth chart doc showed me)

Buggy got 2 shots. Hep-A and a flu shot. Poor Bug. She really dislikes shots. Screamed most of the time she was being measured and poked. :(

She is now officially wearing mostly 12-18mo size clothes. Although most 6-12 size dresses still fit just fine.

Seems to be meeting or exceeding all milestones. Doc wants her saying 7-10 words by 18mo. I think we are already there. Bug's current vocabulary: Mama, Dada, Nana, woo-woo (dog), Bow, Ball, voom-voom (car), bubble (sounds more like "Bubbo"). Next word I am working on is "up". She needs to be around 20 words with 2 connecting words by 2 years.

Her next "well-baby" appt will be in approximately 6 months. Her pediatrician said I can just double up her appt with the new baby's 2 month "well-baby" and just make one trip. :)
