Bug has gained some percentages in the weight category going from the 25th -ish percentile up to the 50th percentile. She weighed in at 25.1 pounds. She is a shorty though, dropping on the height percentages. She now between 5 and 10 percent for height at 30 inches.
Miss Annabelle is in the 50th percentile for everything: head circumference, height, and weight. She was 11 pounds, 5 ounces and 22 inches tall.
Both were declared "perfect" babies. Doctor was very impressed with Annabelle's head control.
Sydney did AMAZINGLY well at this appt. She didn't scream at the doc. She cooperated and listened and did everything the doc requested of her (Open you mouth and say Ahhhh). When the doc pulled out her tape measure and measured around Bug's head, Bug stood very still. When doc was done measuring, Bug said "More!" LOL! Bug didn't get any shots at this appt as she wasn't due for her Hep-A vaccination until mid-May. We can go in any Wednesday to the vaccination clinics and get that really quick starting June.... or we can wait until her 3 year well-baby appt.
However, labs (bloodwork) was ordered for Bug. We could do that anytime in the next month, but since we were there, and I needed labs for my post-pregnancy thyroid check, AND there was no line at the lab, we just went for it. Daddy waited in the waiting room with Annabelle (who still wasn't too happy about the shots she got). Bug sat on my lap while I got my blood drawn, although she wasn't watching - she was distracted by the stickers the doctor had given her. Then it was her turn. Still sitting on my lap, she was very good while they tied the turniqet on (and the phlebotomist declared that she has great veins like her mama). Bug watched as the needle got closer... and then it poked her and she SCREAMED! And screamed and screamed and was screaming the words "almost done! almost done!" which had all the ladies in the lab cracking up. When it was over, Bug was still upset (but no longer screaming), but she kept declaring "All done!" She got 2 new stickers from the lab ladies, and she held my hand as we walked out saying "ByeBye. All Done!" to anyone who would listen. She got a lot of "Awwwwww"s.

Tomorrow I pack for our Easter weekend trip out to Arizona to hang out at Aunt Felicia and Uncle Jim's place. Wish us luck on our drive with 2 under 2.
