a lazy Saturday

Today started out with me being exhausted because *someone* hasn't let me sleep longer than 2 hours for many many days in a row now. In fact, several times, I return to bed only to be reawakened only an hour later by a very unhappy baby. It can't last much longer, right? :::sigh::: . . . So, after breakfast, Dana had Miss Annabelle in a bouncy chair in the office while he balanced the checkbook for the week, and searched the internet for possible houses to go see. At the same time, I had Sydney in her room playing - but after a bit I couldn't stand it anymore. I was SO tired. I put Bug in her crib and I layed down on the daybed. Woke up 3 hours later at 12:30, lunchtime for both girls. Then we just chilled the rest of the afternoon. . . Here is Miss Annabelle hanging out in Bug's crib (soon to be her crib): Our approx. 11 pound sweetheart:

Close up. Her eyes recently turned from dark blue to brown. That transition was really interesting to see. Such a neat in-between color for a couple days. Looks like Miss Annabelle is going to be our little brown-eyed brunette (and Bug is currently our blue-eyed blonde)

The 2 of them have dual "well-baby" appt's on Thursday of this coming week. Belle will be getting her first shots and a referral to dermatology for the port-wine stains on the back of her neck and top of her scalp. We'll have new stats (height, weight) for both of them.

Belle is still getting over her cold from last Sunday... she's sounding a little bit better, hope it fully clears up soon.
