but ended not-so-funny.
This evening Buggy decided she was done wearing her diaper. She takes off her shorts, and takes off her diaper. I think "well, it's almost bedtime, let's head upstairs and we'll just put on one of the overnight diapers. Bug makes her way up the stairs carrying her used diaper and her shorts. She was all excited to show her daddy (who was tiling the bathroom floor upstairs). So she gets to the top with her naked bottom half and gleefully shows her daddy that she's taken off her diaper.
While she's standing there, she pees on the hallway carpet. Then she says "poo". So I run downstairs to grab her potty. I bring it back upstairs. She sits on it seemingly forever (while I clean up hallway pee with the cat's pet stain remover - what else to you use on baby pee?). Anyway while sitting on the potty... Nothing. She scoots it over to her activity/music table. Plays on the table while sitting on the potty. Forever. Still nothing. She gets up and wanders off to see daddy and once again pees in the hallway. Seriously? I clean again while she's back to sitting on her potty. Lather, rinse, repeat. I start to breastfeed Annabelle, and Bug wanders into hallway again and leaves another wet spot. Ugh! Daddy finally finishes with the tile and comes in and gets a diaper on Bug (something she was fighting me about).
In other news: She drank out of a regular cup at lunchtime today. Only water in small amounts, but she didn't dump it. They don't use sippy cup in the 2 year old room at daycare - she needs to be able to handle a cup. Then at dinner she ate all her mexican rice with a spoon and got it all on the spoon and in her mouth. Virtually nothing on the floor!
