she did it! In the potty. All by herself!
She decided to follow me into the restroom, and wanted to sit on her potty that is in there. She decided she wanted to try to go too, and she did. Her face when she heard her own tinkle was priceless! Such surprise and awe and happiness. That's my good girl.
in other news: her face is looking more normal again. Her diet for Thurs, Friday, and half of today was basically yogurt and popsicles. Tonight she managed cut up pieces of hot dog for dinner.
Most sad moment of the day: we were at an open house of a house we are interested in (and put in an offer this evening). This open house had a huge platter of cookies. Bug kept begging for cookie, so we promised her she could get one when we were done and ready to leave (I had no desire to watch her drop crumbs throughout this cream carpeted house). We finally get her a cookie, and she found out that being on the crunchier side, she couldn't bite into it. I tried to show her how to bite using her side teeth. She gave up and gave her cookie to daddy. I gave her a couple small pieces broken off of my own cookie, so she didn't have to do the initial biting.
I took a couple pics of her playing in her room today. We are going to the street fair tomorrow, so there will be more pics for sure. I will try to update later tomorrow or Monday morning.
