Buggy's First Annual Rocktoberfest!!

It was a Hot, high 80's, late October day - a good setting for the Rocktoberfest (although I prefer a cooler day). Since it was so warm and sunny, we busted out the infamous hat outfit. Not what I originally planned for Buggy's debut into Rock society, but the original outfit would have been a bit too warm.

note: it's hard to keep a chin strap under the chin of a baby with numerous chins in the way.

Buggy spent a lot of the day being passed around to all her adoring fans. Here she is hanging out with her uncle Daryl:

Buggy with Grandma Sally and cousin Denise

Buggy with Nana (who also opted for a colorful hat)

Buggy with dzia dzia (that is the spelling I found on Google, dad.):

Buggy spent a lot of quality time with her cousin Denise. Delayne didn't arrive until much later in the party and when the 3 of them were finally altogher, my camera was already put away. But Buggy still had a very nice conversation with them. She just babbled away.
Best remark of the day: When I told Denise and Delayne I was hoping Bug would talk to them and Delayne said "She can talk?!" ha ha ha ha ha! Daryl pointed out that she doesn't "really" talk and Delayne said how she thought that seemed a bit early. Ahhhhh.... gotta love teenagers!

Mommy would absolutely love it if Buggy's hair ended up being the same color as Denise's. Currently, it looks very much like it in the sunlight. Love Denise's monkey face here. Ha ha!

Two pretty cousins 18 years apart. Wow, seems weird to think that there are girls Denise's age (and younger) who are already mommies.

Grandma Sally came and got the Bug for the annual Children's group shot. I have a feeling that Buggy will be in this shot for many years to come.

Grandpa Dennis and Grandma Sally presented Buggy with her own engraved beer stein. All kids and grandkids in the Rock family get one.

Sydney's got a good grip on it:

Dana just HAD to put the Bug in all the various "toys" that are on display every year in the driveway at the party. First the race car. (Dana will be driving these next weekend)

Next up, the go-kart:

then the funny little Legend car:

and finally, sitting with Daddy on the motorcycle:

Phew! What an exhausting day being so precious for everyone! Time for a nap in the stroller. It was a pretty short nap at about 30 or 40 minutes.

Later we hung out in the back office where Dr. Bruce (her godfather) had set up his chiropractic table and adjusted all the party goers. Sydney did some tummy time on the table (with Dana's hand in close proximity in case she decided to roll), while she babbled away to anyone who would listen. I sadly don't have a pic of that either since the camera was long put away by then.
