Trying on Daddy's Christening outfit

So we had already purchased an outfit for Miss Sydney's baptism. I really looked forward to that. Loved what was chosen, and thought we were done with that. However, Sydney's grandma Sally called and let me know that she had Dana's outfit from his baptism some 42 years ago and offered it up. I said I would check it out and see.

Sydney tried it on today. The shoes looked small, but they fit (just barely)... and the neck of the dress looked small too, but it also fits just barely. I think we will go ahead and use the heirloom outfit over the store bought one. (Now to find the receipt and get the other one returned... working on it Mom)

and in fairness, here is the Bug when I had her try on the store bought one last week. It does really dwarf her. It was so big and poofy with all the crinoline stuff underneath. Also, I didn't try on the hat. (yes, those are tags still on it)
