Saturday I was craving Olive Garden salad. And we had a gift card (thanks, Mom). So that's where we went for dinner. D got the Bug dressed while I was driving home from work - I think he did a good job picking out her clothes (I grabbed the headband that matched since he didn't know it existed)
at first I had Bug in a highchair on the outside edge of our table, but she kept throwing her toys at other tables - so I switched with her and put her on the inside next to the wall.
I had to turn her to face me with her back to the window, because she quickly learned how to grab onto the window blinds and swing them all around.
Cheeks!
I brought with us her Puffs and Cheerios. She picked at these while we ate. (she'd just eaten regular meal before we left). I broke off tiny bits of the breadsticks - the underside without the garlicy stuff, and she wasn't interested. She threw it on the floor. She also tossed some lettuce that I tried to give her on the floor. But if I offered her Puff or Cheerio, she was more than happy to eat those. Only a few of those ended up on the floor.
A manager-type lady brought us our check. She exclaimed that she didn't even know there was a baby over here because she's been so good and quiet. (which she was). Such a well behaved child. So far.
