Annabelle's Baptism 05/15/2011

I opted to just do a bow and not a bonnet. Honestly, Bug wore her bonnet for all of 5 minutes before the ceremony. Luckily, I didn't invest any $$ on Bug's attire since she wore her daddy's outfit. Annabelle's a bit chunkier and since Bug barely fit the heirloom outfit, Belle sure won't. Plus my mom brought me down my Christening gown, but I was only a month old - much smaller than Belle currently is. We opted just to buy a dress off the rack at Macy's on a 40% off sale before Easter. It's essentially just a "spring" dress, and something Belle can wear all summer. I'll be getting my $24 worth out of it. I think it worked out fine. No need to spend $45-$75-ish on actual "Christening" attire.

Not a happy baby for a brief moment in this picture. However, she didn't end up crying at all. She held up really well throughout the entire ceremony.

Sydney also did surprisingly well. She was being watched by the grandma's and also by Ruth (our godfather's wife). I was afraid she'd get fidgety, but she managed really well, considering there were about 20 families at the Baptism (I don't really know the actual number - that is just my guess-timate)

Group shot! The baby of the hour: With Daddy, Mommy, the Priest, Big sister Sydney, and Godmother Stephanie, and Godfather Bruce
