Mother's Day at Daycare

(yes, this post is out of order. I just "found" these pics on my point-and-shoot camera that I hadn't used in a couple weeks until today)

The Friday before Mother's Day, Nana and I attended a "tea" at 10:30am at Buggy's Kindercare. It was suggested to wear a favorite hat. I brought a hat for Bug, but I also brought a bow since I wasn't sure how long the hat would survive.

They served super sweet flavored tea, and lemon filled cookies. Bug learned quickly to open the cookies and just eat the filling stuff (sort of like lemon/vanilla oreo-types)

cookie crumb on the chin:
only pic I have with the hat. It's reversable. The underside is just red w/white dots (like the skirt she was wearing that day - which you can't see in these pics). Oh, and the hat is on over the bow here:

Discussing the importance of cookies in life with Nana:

There was a game where you were supposed to try to toss these pool-floaty-rings onto your child. There was no tossing on Bug, we just placed them on her, but she loved it. She was scootching around wearing all 5.

note: sitting on pre-school sized chairs is quite an experience.
