Beach! (long post, but lots of pics!)

This past Sunday, I thought it would be fun to take Buggy down to the beach for a little bit after church. Thinking was that at 9:30am on a Sunday in January there wouldn't be anybody there. I thought wrong. The parking was packed - I forgot about surfers. We were lucky to get a spot. I think our spot was a surfer that had just left, and they left us 1:08 on the meter. So we only put in one quarter for an additional 15 mins. Score!

The day was absolutely stunningly beautiful. Warm (70's), Sunny, Clear. Gorgeous. Sydney seemed to have a good time. She grabbed a handful of sand, and promptly tried to eat it. Daddy got her to release it before she consumed any.

Buggy seemed to enjoy the sounds of the ocean

Mommy carried her down to the water's edge to watch the waves and surfers. If she hadn't been wearing tights, I would have dipped her toes in the water.

I thought these birds were funny. They formed this V formation all facing the same direction right in front of us. Occasionally they would change position, but they still hung around. I felt like we were being stalked by them. They were probably waiting for food (which we didn't have)

After leaving the beach, I needed to run an errand to Target. Only way I got the hubby on board with this plan was to entice him with a trip to GoldenSpoon (right nextdoor to Target)

Here is Buggy and my 1/2 Pomegranate Blueberry & 1/2 cheesecake flavored FroYo with rainbow sprinkles. (always with rainbow sprinkles)
