Lunch Date!

Tomorrow is D's last day off work and home with the girls. They start daycare full time again on Monday. So he drove down to Costa Mesa with them so we could all go out to lunch.

When they picked me up at work, both Buggy and Belle were asleep in the car. Here is groggy Bug deciding if she wants to be awake or not.



Perusing the menu. Today we let Bug pick her lunch by choosing via the pictures on the kids menu. She opted for Mac-n-Cheese (big shock). Mommy picked her side option of melon and her drink choice of lemonade.

Yummy! She ate all but 2 bites of her mac-n-cheese, and ALL of her cantaloupe slices that came on the side. There was minimal mess under the highh-chair today!

Oh, and Annabelle was at the table with us too. After nursing, she quietly sat to the side and chewed on her foot:

PS - her hair is not that dark (in pic below). It's mostly the shadow of her carrier's handle.

in other news: I stopped by daycare this morning to drop off their stuff: Clothes, diapers, wipes, sunblock, bulb suction for Buggy (need to pick up some diaper cream for her). And clothes, diapers and diaper cream for Belle (need to bring in wipes for her). At least it's less to do on Monday morning.

Also next week? Annabelle's 6mo. well-baby appt. at the doctors. It's the last time the girls will be seen by their pediatrician. We'll have a new one after labor day. :( Very sad.
