Memorial Day Weekend - Part 2: Saturday afternoon

All the fun stuff over at the Honda dealership was going on between 1-4pm.   We went over to pick up my car around 2ish.    Sydney spotted the pretty pink bounce house (jumper) right away, and was in it as fast as she could.   There were no other kids, so her and Annabelle had it to themselves.   I stayed with them, while D wandered over to get our In-N-Out burgers.    Annabelle really didn't last too long in the jumper.  She wanted out pretty quickly.

one of Sydney's favorite things!

just the 2 of them.  Their own personal jumper!

she decided she'd rather not be in there with her spastic sister, Sydney.

Annabelle watches through the entry flap.
So, D wandered back over with ONE burger.   Said the lady told him you could only order 1.     So, I put him on "watch the girls" duty, and I wander to the end of the cul-de-sac.    As I'm in line (like a whole 2 people in line)... they put out orders with up to 4 burgers in one box.     I get up there and order 3.   No problem.

note: every holiday weekend

Sydney's first In-N-Out burger.   This child ate almost the whole thing!
Annabelle had a few bites of mine.
Then we get home around 3.   And it is naptime.   Super late naptime.    Cue Sydney meltdown, from the car... into the house... up to her room.   Ugh.    She screams that she's mad at me for making her leave the jumper.    I get that little kids really don't have logic, but a "Thank you for taking me to the jumper" will hopefully be in my future somewhere.     Dang.   This child had it to herself for almost a full hour!!   And then I get to deal with the tantrum.   Awesome!

But after her nap she was much better and we chatted later at bedtime about what a great day it had been.   Awwww... see now that's how it's supposed to be!
