1st Christmas recap. Otherwise known as "Buggy's 3 Christmases"

CHRISTMAS EVE (AT DANA'S PARENTS' PLACE)

Buggy's first Christmas started out with a trip over to her Grandparents house on Christmas Eve. Darryl and Dawn were also there, along with Dawn's adorable children Christopher and Rachel. Buggy finally had some kids to play with!

Baby's 1st Christmas stocking and a tired Bug:
Overall, Buggy started off this Christmas getting some really great gifts. She really likes her big stuffed "Nemo" from uncle Darryl that goes with the blanket he brought back from the Carribbean when she was born (the one with all the clown fishes on it that we use ALL.THE.TIME)

CHRISTMAS MORNING 6AM

Before driving out to my parents house, the 3 of us had our own little moment together. Daddy helped the Buggy with her presents. Showing her the bows - and letting her feel them. Then getting a rip started on the paper for the Bug to pull, so that she could partially unwrap her own presents.

Buggy loving her Soothe and Glow Seahorse. That sucker was putting everyone to sleep a bit later in the day.

CHRISTMAS DAY (AT MY PARENTS' PLACE)

Left our house around 6:45 am to get to the IE with as little traffic as possible. It worked. 54 mins to my parents house! Not too shabby. Fed the Bug when we got there, then off to 9am mass. I love that church out there with the special "mother's room" with comfy couches. Buggy started a little fuss during mass and it turns out that she needed a 2nd (actually 3rd at this point) breakfast. Afterwards we had a big breakfast, and then opened presents. Buggy was very awake, alert, and cheerful for her 1st Christmas morning. She received a lot of neat stuff from many people who love her. :)

With her super soft and light "God Bless" book:

and I leave you with this FLASHBACK circa 1971. Baby Stacie with big sister Stephanie:
