of lactation that is.
This morning since it was Tuesday (meaning I have to have my car off the street from 8am until after the sweeper goes by at 9:15am), I decided to bundle up the Bug and drive over to Kaiser to pay a visit to the MILC clinic (mothers, infants lactation clinic) to ask them for any advice they could give me to get Buggy to drink from either the bottle or sippy cup.
The MILC consultants were extremely helpful in the 5 weekly visits I paid to them in July and August to get Buggy to breastfeed properly without syringes, shields and whatnot. Well now Buggy is a pro and I never thought I would be back there asking for this sort of advice.
The 2 ladies there this morning were the older one that helped me out in the hospital, and the younger one that helped me on my first visit to MILC (when Bug was one week old) and I was at my wits end in not being able to feed her.
They really had nothing new for me wisdom wise, other than to maybe try a really fast flowing nipple on a bottle... or one even suggested giving her a regular cup (ummm no!)
Anyway, it was about 40 degrees when I left the house at 8am - so the Bug got a true bundling. She had on a onesie, covered by jeans, and a big fluffly/heavy fleece hoodie, two pairs of socks, and her pink Ellen hat. She looked so cute.
